With this collaborative piece sculptor Carl Bajandas and fiber artist Vanessa Tomczak explore the idea of passive destruction. As people walk past, the motion sensor triggers the gears into motion and the structure slowly unravels and becomes a pile of string on the floor. The viewer is confronted with physical evidence of his or her own passive contribution to the destruction of a delicately crafted form.
